Martin has over 30 years experience in marketing, advertising, design and sales both from an agency and client perspective. During this time he has recruited and led teams both large and small with consistent success and a sense of humour.
From his classic advertising agency training to becoming Group Board Director of an Agency. From his entrepreneurial awareness of the onset of computerisation in graphics and the sourcing and installation of the first computerised typesetting machine in the UK, Martin has shown his in-depth grasp of technology, fresh thinking and the ability to capitalise on an opportunity.
And during this length of time, in such a volatile industry during periods when business has not been so good, Martin has gained invaluable experience of how to manage both boom and bust. From working in candlelight during the miners strike to finalise Ted Heaths election campaign on behalf of The Conservative Party, to managing and negotiating with the printing unions during the NGA and SOGAT industrial action. From coping with clients going bust during the recession to drastic budget cuts during times of war, Martin has experience of how to manage in both good times - and not so good.
